Day 12
Ok - So Las Vegas didn't go exactly as planned. To clear our heads, we hit the road
and headed for the Hoover Dam. Really cool stuff. We did cross a manditory
checkpoint and the motor home was searched. I didn't really mind, I was just
surprised how ineffective it was. I guess we didn't match thier "profile"
of a terrorist.
When the ranger entered the camper, I heard "Wow! Are you a
real cowboy?!?!?"

| On the road again, heading into Lake Meade |

|
| We thought the towers were falling in. I guess they're supposed to
be that way. |

|
| Ain't we cool? |

|
| The underground tour is not for the claustrophobic. |

|
| I told Mitch this is the main switch for the dam. That's why it's
locked. He bought it... |

|
| Standing from the top of the dam. Pictures just couldn't take it all
in. |

|
| These turbines are huge. They only take them out every 10 years for
service. I'd tell you more, but then I'd have to kill you. |

|
| We found this campground by accident. It had to be the most
peaceful, beautiful place on earth. |

|
| See those green bushes? After Nick and Mitch beat each other with
them, the warden came down and described how deathly toxic they were. They both got
baths that night. |

|
| Group shot!!!! |

|
| You just can't buy a view like this. |
